Bryanna Beamer

Bryanna, originally from Philadelphia, began her career in youth development after graduating with her B.A in Childhood and Adolescent Development and Minority Group Experiences. She served in Peace Corps Ghana as a health community change agent and organized youth camps and leadership clubs, in addition to supporting mothers in adopting better nutritional practices. Before receiving her Masters in Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame, Bryanna worked as a case manager in Montgomery County, Md., supporting youth in goal setting and advocacy in legal, educational, and personal realms. She also volunteered as a youth coach with the International Rescue Committee. Throughout Bryanna's career, she has partnered with Head Start, LEGO, Catholic Relief Services, and the Global Center for the Development of the Whole Child to conduct research and develop programming on social-emotional learning, mindfulness practices on attention span, the impact of expressive arts on trauma and psychosocial healing, and how children understand play as a learning tool. During her down time, Bryanna loves to travel, read, and cuddle with her puppy, Athena.
