John Goldberg
John was born and raised in New Jersey where he developed a love for reading and working with youth. He studied English and Secondary Education at St. Joseph’s University (Go Hawks!) and student taught in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. Upon graduating he moved to D.C. and began volunteering with Playtime at D.C. General and D.A.S.H. before moving into a staff role. John enjoys watching the Nationals, being outside, and exploring new museums. He currently directs the community service program and teaches sixth grade at St. Anselm’s Abbey School in Ward 5, and is perusing a master’s degree in School Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
