Jordan Clayton

Jordan began at Playtime as the Community-Based Programs Manager in 2022. In March 2025, he became Program Director after serving as interim director for several months. Jordan was born, raised, and educated in Richmond, VA. His passion and interests in community & youth development were formed during his time at Virginia Commonwealth University (Go Rams!) and solidified during his time in Morocco with the Peace Corps. During the 2020 pandemic, Jordan took his eagerness to serve to Austin, Texas, where he supported 24 AmeriCorps volunteers in the city’s Youth & Family Initiatives Office. Following his time in Texas, Jordan returned home to the east coast where he began another year of service, this time with the University of the District of Columbia. Now, a District resident, Jordan is grateful for the opportunity to help expand Playtime programming and support Playtime’s team in providing vital play programs for children experiencing housing insecurity.
