Kelsey Calabrese
Kelsey was born and raised in Frederick, MD. She is a current student at the University of Maryland studying public health science and public policy and was a member of the Global Public Health Scholars program at UMD. She has always loved working with kids; she has been a gymnastics coach, volunteered for a youth program at a local science center, and was a long-term nanny. Before working at Playtime, Kelsey worked at Children’s Hospital as a laboratory intern studying the genetics behind muscular dystrophy. Before starting as Program Support Coordinator, Kelsey was a longtime volunteer with Playtime. While volunteering with Playtime, Kelsey developed a passion for working with children with special needs! Kelsey enjoys traveling, playing sports, and spending time with her friends in her free time.
