Steven Lyons
Steven Lyons, CPA is an outsourced accounting and advisory services senior manager with GRF CPAs & Advisors and has been with the firms since 2006. Since 2001, Mr. Lyons has worked in the accounting and financial industry and his expertise ranges from audit assurance, accounting outsourcing, and financial statement preparation. His responsibilities include overseeing and completing reviewed and compiled financial statements according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and outsourced accounting engagements for both nonprofit organizations and for-profit businesses. The outsourced engagements include a variety of tasks and duties that include Chief Financial Officer (CFO) services, accounting system implementations, preparation of monthly and annual closing of accounting records as well as audit preparation for nonprofit organizations and for-profit corporations.
Prior to joining GRF, Mr. Lyons was a senior accountant at OAO Technology Solutions in Greenbelt, MD where he was responsible for all cash management for US and Canadian operations.
