Talia Curhan

Talia Curhan

Talia Curhan (she/her) has five years of experience developing compelling communications products that center storytelling and drive collective action. While at Brown University, she studied social determinants of health and the impact of the family on a child's development and health outcomes.

She recently created accessible resources about sexual and reproductive health and rights for policymakers, media, academics, and advocates. Previously, she was a community organizer supporting parents of children with disabilities in DC. Talia trained parents as leaders in promoting access to equitable educational and healthcare services. Outside of Playtime, Talia serves on the board of Impact100 DC, an all-women's volunteer grantmaking organization supporting nonprofits in the greater DC area. She also consults with organizations and mission-driven businesses on strategic communications and creative impact.

In her free time, Talia loves to sing, spend time outside, explore new restaurants, and play boardgames with her partner. She lives in Washington, DC.
