Tami Watkins

Tami Watkins is the Sr. Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs for Comcast Beltway Region. With more than 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors, she has held various senior level positions in telecommunications, infrastructure, and energy.
In her current role, Ms. Watkins serves as Comcast’s liaison in the Beltway Region to engage state and local officials, community groups, and non-profit organizations on a variety of initiatives that support business goals and strengthens Comcast relationships with region stakeholders. Throughout her career, Ms. Watkins has demonstrated a deep understanding of the importance of building coalitions towards achieving consensus on challenging issues.
Tami is a proud West Virginian. A graduate of Shepherd University and West Virginia University, Tami still finds a reason to come home for WVU Foodball games, The Buckwheat Festival, and the Sternwheel Regatta. At home in Maryland with her family, she is active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations and outside of her professional interests, she enjoys staying active with her friends and family.
